Deposit & Withdraw
Deposit
In order to deposit funds into your ThabaBet account, you must be logged in.
Once you log in, you will find the "Deposit" button at the top of the page. Click on it to go to the deposit page. There, you will see the deposit methods available to you. Click on the deposit method you wish to use. We currently use M-Pesa/Ecocash/OTT for deposits, but more methods will be available soon.
If you are using an OTT Voucher to deposit, simply click on the OTT logo and enter your OTT Voucher number to make your deposit.
Once you select your method, you will be asked to indicate the amount you wish to deposit. You can click one of the buttons with the set amounts, or enter the amount you wish to deposit.
The minimum amount you can deposit is M1. The maximum amount you can deposit is M50,000.
Click on the green "Deposit" button at the bottom of the deposit form and wait for the message from Vodacom/Econet M-Pesa/Ecocash asking you to confirm your PIN. In order to complete the deposit, enter your Vodacom/Econet M-Pesa/Ecocash PIN and submit.
If you've entered the correct PIN, the amount will be deducted from your M-Pesa/Ecocash balance and added to your ThabaBet balance. You can now place your bets with ThabaBet.
Some tips:
- Please make sure you know your M-Pesa/Ecocash PIN before you start the deposit process so that you can enter the PIN quickly and successfully make your deposit at the first attempt.
- Don't delete your payment confirmation SMS message from Vodacom/Econet until you are certain that the funds have been added to your ThabaBet account. In case of any issues with your payment not reaching us, the payment confirmation SMS message from Vodacom/Econet will be needed to confirm the payment and rectify the issue.
- In case you change your mobile number, or have more than one Vodacom/Econet M-Pesa/Ecocash number and want to deposit funds using your second number, simply go to "My Details" and replace your old mobile number with your new one. Once you do this, the deposit confirmation will need to be done from the new number. Your deposit will be made from the new number.
There are several reasons why a deposit request can fail:
- You might have reached your daily or monthly limit on your M-Pesa/Ecocash wallet. In such a case, there is nothing we can do about it. You will need to contact Vodacom/Econet to increase your limit.
- Vodacom/Econet M-Pesa/Ecocash might be undergoing maintenance or upgrades. Check the Vodacom/Econet website for any maintenance or upgrade announcements.
- There might be a Vodacom/Econet network outage. Although this is very rare, it does happen sometimes.
If you have any questions about depositing funds, simply get in touch by clicking on the floating "Message" button at the bottom right of our page to talk to one of our helpdesk representatives.
Withdraw
In order to withdraw your winnings from your ThabaBet account, click on your profile icon at the top right of the page (to the left of the BETSLIP). This will reveal the "Withdraw" button. Click on it to open the withdrawal request page.
If you're on a desktop or laptop, click on your profile icon and click on "Transactions". You'll notice the "Withdraw" button appear on the left-hand side. Click on it to open the withdrawal request page.
There, you will see the withdrawal methods available to you. Click on the withdrawal method you wish to use. We currently use M-Pesa/Ecocash for withdrawals, but more methods will be available soon.
Next, you'll be asked to enter the amount you wish to withdraw from your ThabaBet account.
The minimum amount you can withdraw is M25. The maximum amount you can withdraw is M50,000.
Click on the green "Request Withdraw" button. You will see our flashing logo for a few seconds. If the withdrawal is successful, the amount you requested will be deducted from your ThabaBet balance. The same amount will be added to your M-Pesa/Ecocash wallet balance.
Some tips:
- Please note the "Withdrawable" amount. This is the maximum amount you can currently withdraw from your account. This amount could be less than your balance amount because only winnings can be withdrawn.
- It's advisable to withdraw round number amounts. For example, if you have M50.28 on your balance, withdraw M50.00 and leave M0.28 on your ThabaBet balance. This makes calculations simpler and avoids any possible issues with Loti fractions.
- Try not to empty your ThabaBet balance completely if you plan on placing more bets. Although you can withdraw all your money and then immediately make a deposit into your ThabaBet account, this creates unnecessary transactions that could slow our systems down at peak times.
